Inside a Dongguan Packaging Factory: From Offset Printing to Final Packing

How Custom Packaging is Made at YMBOX

Dongguan is the packaging manufacturing capital of China. YMBOX has operated here since 2007, producing custom packaging for clients in over 40 countries.

Step 1: Pre-Press and CTP

Artwork files are checked and CTP plates created directly from digital files for precise registration.

Step 2: Offset Printing

Komori Lithrone and Roland 700 presses handle CMYK and Pantone printing at up to 15,000 sheets per hour with inline color monitoring.

Step 3: Finishing

Lamination, foil stamping, embossing, debossing, and spot UV are applied after printing.

Step 4: Die-Cutting

Automatic die-cutting machines cut and crease sheets into box blanks with auto waste stripping.

Step 5: Assembly

Folding cartons run through automatic folding-gluing machines. Rigid boxes are assembled by hand or semi-automatic machines.

Step 6: Quality Control

Three QC stages: IQC (incoming), IPQC (in-process), FQC (final). Color accuracy within delta E 2.

Step 7: Packing and Shipping

Finished boxes are packed in export cartons, labeled, palletized, and shipped worldwide.
